Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the Department of Health, Nutrition, & Exercise Sciences (HNES). As a department, we offer all students an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that are vital in developing a personal, lifetime wellness concept and to serve as teachers, leaders, and administrators of health, physical education, recreation, athletic training, exercise science, and dietetics.
HNES offers five undergraduate majors, two minors, and four certifications, along with two different Master of Science degrees and a professional degree in Athletic Training. We also offer six different general education wellness courses through on site and distance learning.
