This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). It will prepare a student to take the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) exam and become a Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC). Course work and clinical experience focus on prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries resulting from physical activity.
Students must complete all of the required courses listed below. Students will be required to
write and defend a three-credit comprehensive paper for a total of 36 credits.
